Marlin No. 32 Standard 1875 Revolver .32 Rimfire
Description: Serial #2297, .32 RF Long, 3" barrel with a very good, bright bore that has a few spots of dark freckling along its length. This is a 2nd type revolver, with matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and cylinder, and the later type hard rubber grips. The metal retains 90-95% of the original nickel plate finish that has a few tiny dark spots scattered about, as well as some exposed underlying brass at the butt of the grip. The hammer and spur trigger retain some of their original blue finish, with the balance turned to a blue-brown patina with some mild freckling present as well. The "M.F.A. Co." marked hard rubber grips are in good shape with minor surface wear, and a chip at the butt on the left panel that has been filled. The barrel lock-up is still tight, and there is a tiny amount of lateral play, but the action is fully functional. This is a very nice, well-preserved example of a scarce Marlin revolver, and would make a great addition to any collection. Antique; Price: $595.00 Antique: Yes Contact Seller |
