Description: I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Smith & Wesson Model No1 Second Issue, Tip-Up Single Action Revolver made 1860- 1868, about 117,000 were produced and used during & after the Civil War. Serial number :"46622". With a 3.3/16" Octagonal Original blue ribbed barrel with a good shinny bore with sharp rifling tiny specks of light erosion. It’s chambered for .22 short rimfire caliber. 7x round non-fluted blue cylinder with clean chamber, patents dates marked around the cylinder : "1855, 1859". Spur trigger. Original rosewood grips are excellent, the butt shape square, the original factory blue finish on barrel & cylinter rates 65%, grey blue tarnish silver patted on the brass frame rates 85%. Single Action is an excellent working condition. These No1 were Smith & Wesson's first metallic cartridge firearms, beginning a long line of weaponery still very much in the forefront of the industry in the present day. Very collectible, rarely seen in such good shape, all visible on the pictures. Old ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale.
