A Very Early U.S. Civil War Colt Model 1849 Wells Fargo Percussion Pocket Revolver In Nice Untouched Condition. Serial # 117,236, all matching numbers. Made in 1856, all original and complete. Only a total of 4,000 were made. The scarce revolver has a 3 inch barrel on it. The early pistol has nice untouched metal, markings, and edges. The cylinder scene is full and clear. All of the metal on the revolver has a nice even natural darkening patina on it. The brass backstrap and trigger guard are also nice with an untouched mellow color to them. All screws are fine. The original grips are fine throughout. It has a very good action and bore. This Is A Very Untouched And Nice Looking Example Of A Very Early And Scarce Civil War Colt Model 1849 Wells Fargo Percussion Pocket Revolver!
