Description:
An Early, And Scarce Civil War Colt Model 5A Root Revolver With A 4 1/2 Inch Barrel & London Proofed In Fine Plus Untouched Condition. All matching numbers & made in 1862. All original and complete. The revolver has fine metal, markings, and edges throughout. It is London Proofed on the metal parts. The pistol retains lots of original factory blue which is turning to an even plum color throughout it. It has the long 4 1/2 inch barrel on it. The revolver has excellent plus grips that retain their original factory varnish on them. It has a fine bore and action in it. This Is A Very Fine looking Example Of An Early, And Scarce Civil War London Proofed Colt Model 5A Root Revolver With A 4 1/2 Inch Barrel!
