Standard configuration Cartridge LeMat 9-shot Revolver with a 4.75” octagonal barrel surmounting a 24ga shotgun barrel. Fixed sights. Top of barrel marked “COLONEL LE MAT PATENT”. Hammer with usual levered extension to impact shotgun shell firing pin. Several small parts numbered “3” including cylinder, pivot for lanyard ring, and loading gate. Smooth wood grips secured with a single transverse screw. Flat head screw at butt. Synopsis: LeMat, Centerfire Cartridge Revolver, Post Civil War, SN# 3, O-98 Condition: Generally good with most blue having faded to a brown/grey with patchy oxidation as pictured. Tensioning spring for loading gate is a replacement. Correct manual function with each cylinder indexing properly. Surprisingly bright bores. A large steampunkish antique revolver with a single digit serial number, sure to impress your friends (and enemies)! ~~Insured shipping fee of $155; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
