BELGIAN COPY OF WEBLEY R.I.C. .320 / .32 SHORT COLT CARTRIDGE REVOLVER

Description:
This is a very nice copy of the Webley R.I.C. by a Belgian gun maker.Remember , that the R.I C. type is usually 6-shots and the smaller Bulldog type is 5-shots.The .320 caliber of England , led to the .32 short colt here in America. These rounds chamber in this antique but the little later on , .32 S & W does not chamber in this revolver. Their are no makers markings on this piece except for German proofs on frame and cylinder ( their proof law of 1891 ) . There is a serial number on inner strap.

The finely checkered grips are real nice and no nicks. The mechanical in single and double action works well and slight wiggle in lockup ; not sloppy. Chambers not bad,bore has light pitting which might clean up with some cleanlng.There is lots of original nickle mixed with wear and some light corrosion.Careful cleaning should improve it some .

I sell antique guns for collecting and display. If intending to use,one must have a gunsmith check for safety and proper load.
