Description:
Allen & Thurber percussion pepperbox. Cal/bore .31, 6 barrel cluster with flat ribs. One rib marked "Patented 1837 Cast - Steel." Bar hammer with "Allens Patent" on top and "Allen & Thurber/Norwich C-T" on Left side. Engraved. Walnut handle decorated with silver ovals. Nipple guard with rolled decoration, frame with common handcut sparce scroll engraving. Ring trigger. Grips with German silver spangles. Matching "12" batch number observed on interior of both grip scales, main spring and frame. Mechanically fine. Bores are good. Serial #NSN
