COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 2ND GEN .45 COLT...Custom Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Serial #61789SA, Manfactured 1972...5 1/2” barrel with an excellent bore.  The polished blue finish is a deep black color with about 25% coverage of  loose scroll engraving on the barrel, ejector rod housing, grip frame and cylinder.  These areas have been tastefully highlighted with inlaid bands of gold.  The barrel and cylinder have dual bands and there is a band on the borders of the cylinder that outlines the flutes, on the borders of the backstrap and small oval on the base of the triggerguard.  The cylinder was further highlighted with a gold inlaid geometric fish between each flute.  The frame retains robust case-hardened colors that Colt is known for.  The hard rubber Federal eagle grips are hand numbered to the gun and remain in like new condition.  This lovely second generation Colt has abundant eye-catching appeal thanks to the elegantly executed embellishments.
