Colt SAA US Cavalry Model Decommissioned 1st Generation

Very interesting Colt SAA US Cavalry Model. This gun was manufactured in 1885. Backstrap number does not match. This Colt was totally decommissioned in Great Britain, and I mean totally. This revolver is still in its original configuration with a 7 1/2" barrel and wooden grips. So let's start with the modifications: barrel has been slugged and welded, chambers of cylinder have been opened up, fire pin taken out, bottom hammer slots have been filed off, trigger and hammer screw have been tack welded, and cylinder pin tack welded. Put all that aside this US Cav gun still looks the part. If you want an original US Marked Cavalry Model at the fraction of the price, this is the gun for you.
