Colt SAA 45 5 1/2" BP frame

Description:
From my personal collection. This Is an interesting Colt 1881 SAA 45 long Colt black powder frame. This Colt has, a very nice condition David F Clark, inspected 5 1/2 inch barrel with very nice clean skinny land rifling, and a shiny bore The barrel shows very nice Factory feathered front sight as it should being a DFC inspected Artillery barrel. It also has a Henry Nettleton Inspected hammer. It has a lot of the Artillery configuration but without the US stamp on the frame. I do not see any other sub inspector marks. It looks like the grips have a repair to them but fit nice. Timing is excellent. It has Matching serial numbers including the original cylinder with the serial number stamped faintly. A nice early Colt 45.
