Description: Colt Single Action Army. Manufactured 1883. Serial number 93810. 5 1/2" Barrel. All original parts as near as I can tell, in that the serial numbers match. I have not taken it apart, but let us presume that the load gate and relative cylinder numbers also match. Worn; consistent patina, with some pitting at the slightest touch of rust. At no point was this refinished. Good action other than a bad spring that keeps the bullet cylinder from advancing consistently when triggered Markings are the serial number twice, on the underside in front of the trigger guard, as well as on the bottom of the handle backstrap; as stated, these all match. The barrel has the manufacturing stamp and their is a three line patent stamp on the side. There is also a 45 caliber stamp on the front of the trigger guard, left side. The patent stamp is faded but legible in my opinion. The rest are clear. The horses at the top of the handle are slightly worn from rubbing, but details are still clear.
