One of the rarest guns on the planet is this 100% original Colt Fitst generation sheriffs model nickel plated in.45 Colt with a 31/2 barrel with eagle grips which are in excellent condition. Nobody really knows how many were actually made anywhere from 400 to 1200. Most are in extremely poor condition and most are fakes. This gun has provenance from Mr Graham co author of Colt single action a study by Graham Moore and John kopec. Mr Graham actually wrote the chapter on first generation sheriffs models. He is like the John kopec of these guns. He concludes this gun 100% original and it functions perfectly. As I have stated I'm terminally ill and must sell my collection of rare guns please look at my other s. 10,500 or best reasonable offer. This gun was made in 1890
