S&W 64-4, 2\" barrel Double/Single Action revolver chambered in .38 Spl. The S&W 64-4 K frame are getting extremely difficult to find, and the snubby is considered by most collectors, to be the \"Holy Grail\" because it was the latest offering in a 2 inch that still had the forged hammer & trigger, the firing pin on the hammer, and no internal lock.
It does show some minor handling marks. The bore is bright, clean and well-maintained, with good rifling that boasts well-defined lands and grooves. The action functions as intended. There is minimal side to side play of the cylinders while in lockup. The wood grips appear to be original to this gun.
Included in the sale are the revolver itself, checkered walnut wood grips adorned with S&W medallions. The gun ships in a Smith & Wesson hard gun case.
