COLT DETECTIVE SPECIAL, 38 SPECIAL, made in 1964

Description:
Extremely clean Colt Detective Special in .38 Special. This one was made in 1964 making it 61 years old. It is in excellent shape only showing minor bluing wear at the sharp edges of the muzzle and on the ejector rod. Look closely at the pictures and you will see a slight turn ring on the cylinder. The bore and chambers look perfect. The grips are in very good shape. The Colt has six chambers while the Smith & Wesson model 36 only has five. This would make an excellent carry gun or a home defense weapon that almost anyone could handle. It is more simple and easy to use than a semi-auto and some would say that it would be more reliable. Overall, a great old school Cop revolver in amazing condition for its age.
