I'm selling my collection. An Antique Smith & Wesson .38 Safety New Departure Third Model Hammerless Double Action Revolver, made in 1890-1898 in a total 73,500, it qualifies as an Antique pre-Dec 31. 1898, no need FFL for transfer, chambered in .38 S&W centerfire caliber, 5 shot fluted cylinder with clean chamber. 3.1/4" round ribbed barrel with a good bore slightly grainy with a lot of shine. The metal surface of this early .38 DA retain 65% of its original blue finish turning brown patina. Original black hard rubber grip grips remain in good condition with S&W logo. Serial numbers are matching. I haven't shot it, the action and the cylinder timing function very well. It was well kept and preserved. Very collectible & good example these famous hammerless revolvers. The old ammunitions showed on one the picture are not sor sale. Please don't ask for extra pictures. $545 + $50 insured shipping to your door if you are over 21, payable by cashier check, P.M.O or credit card with the usual charging fee.
