Please see images for your own evaluation. Rifle has handsome character. Mechanical aspects in correct working order with good bore. Wood furniture shows well with no cracks and original with minor handling marks. Metal surfaces all show signs of age / wear. Checkering is correct based on brophy's book. A very rarely seen deluxe example with tang sight. The inspector star is located inside tang as common with very early 39 rifles. Stock does have correct matching serial number displayed inside.
