Description:
This is probably one of the finest ones in existence. Engraving is sharp. This gun is out of Frank Sellers collection and pictured in his book. I have had it in my personal collection for the past 25 years. Barrels are a clean plum/brown color. Very good bore in Caliber 52. The brass patch box is engraved as well. This seems to have more engraving coverage than what you usually encounter on these carbines. Wood has a few light handling mars. It has the Maynard Tape Primer system still in play. This is a great original gun that would be hard to improve upon.
