Description:
Left hand German (Sauer) Custom Shop rifle that has been rebarreled to a wildcat 9.3/404 by Charles Askins (the well known gun writer), who affixed a brass plaque bearing his name to the forend. Period Bushnell Scopechief 4x in Buehler rings. Magazine modified to single stack, Timney trigger fitted (damaged original Sauer safety trigger included). No safety but comes with the later left hand bolt shroud with provision for bolt safety. Stock reinforced in multiple places, the epoxy finish has typical crazing. Unique piece. Easy conversion to 404 Jeffery, we can supply a new chrome-moly contoured McGowen barrel for addl $350
