Description:
Serial #5714, .577 caliber black powder percussion, 24 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Model 1861 Enfield 2 band Carbine manufactured by Parker-Hale in Birmingham, England circa 1970's as a faithful reproduction nicely equipped with bayonet lug, sling swivels and ramrod marked with the Crown over "P-H" on the lock plate. In excellent, like new condition the barrel and bands retain virtually all, 99% plus original blue finish with the lock, trigger, screw heads and hammer having comparable amounts of vibrant case-hardened colors all with some very minor handling marks. The walnut stock is solid with a very nice Parker-Hale cartouche and scattered storage and handling marks nicely outfitted with brass trigger guard and butt plate. The action functions smoothly holding at half and full cock. A beautiful example of these very well built rifle-muskets that remains in excellent, unfired condition. Antique
