Description:

Standard configuration Smith & Wesson Model 52-2 with 5” barrel, semi partridge front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Cal. .38 Special Wadcutter. Usual S&W address on each side of the slide with serial number and model designation on the left side of the frame. Exposed barrel hood marked “38 SPECIAL/MID-RANGE”. Frontstrap with vertical serrations. Backstrap with a checkered palm swell. Two-piece checkered grips with the upper portion of each panel bearing the silvered S&W escutcheon. Correct S&W M52 magazine with S&W marked on the detachable floorplate. Fitted with factory counterweight and complete with factory bushing wrench, paperwork, and factory matching shipping box.

Condition:

Crisp 99+% bright original lustrous blue with only the most minute handling marks. Fantastic trigger as typical for these precision pistols. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition box and literature. A wonderful and complete S&W Model 52-2, especially nice with its factory counterweight!
