Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .38-72 Win smokeless ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 275 grain soft point bullets developed for the Model 95 rifle. The two piece box with orange and black labels is solid with date codes of "2-26" and "2-25" but has the late post 1932 call outs for Non-Mercuric and Staynless making this among the last offerings by Winchester as the cartridge never gained popularity and was phased out by 1946. There is some shelf and edge wear to the box with some flaking on the labels. The cartridges are in excellent condition.
