ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Offered for your consideration is a very scarce box of UMC .38 Long Rim Fire Cartridges! This box dates to the 1860's -1870's. It had a very limited production run and is rarely encountered, especially full of the original cartridges! Box has great graphics, showing crossed Ballard rifles on the cover along with the early UMC “Dog's Head” logo in the upper left corner. Box shows normal aging and has a few well-done repairs. Cartridges are original and in VG condition overall with normal oxidation to the lead. A fine example of this scarce box that will display very nicely! Don't miss this opportunity to add this seldom seen antique UMC cartridge box to your collection!
The cartridges included in this listing are more than 150 years old - they are for display only and should not be used in any weapon!!
