Description:
24 inch Special Order Half Octagon barrel. Excellent bore that is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Sights include a Lyman Ivory Bead front with a Flat Top Sporting rear and a Lyman No.1 Combination tang sight. Barrel, full length magazine and receiver retain 70% original blue overall with scattered light handling marks. The Hammer retains a good deal of darkening case colors with the lever showing just thinning remnants and the crescent rifle buttplate having only traces. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting with some scratches and other light handling marks. Manufactured in 1902, it’s a very fine rifle for being over 120 years old.
