Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with full length mag tube. Bright shiny excellent bore. Original sights include a blade front and flattop sporting rear. Barrel and mag tube retain about 98% blue. Receiver has some flaking on the sides and underside of the receiver leaving about 30% blue on the left side and 60% blue on the right. Forend cap has all the blue as does the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are in excellent condition with most all original varnish and a rifle style buttplate. Buttplate also retains most blue. A nice clean gun with smooth action. This Winchester was made about 1920. The octagon barrel 44's are hard to find!
