Description:
20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a good bore that has shine and light frosting. Sights include pinned blade front and folding ladder carbine rear that is missing the slider. Barrel and mag have thinning blue fading to plum/brown. Receiver is a gray patina with traces of blue by the saddle ring. Left side of receiver drilled and tapped for peep sight with filler screws in place. Hammer and lever have faint traces of case colors. Stocks are in good condition showing light handling mars and is a little shy at the carbine buttplate. Nice smooth action. This one was made in the mid 1920's. A good example piece for Cowboy Action shooters or anyone looking for a desirable 44-40 caliber 92 carbine.
