Deane & Sons .65 cal, 5 shot double action revolving rifle with "DEANE & SON 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE" marking on top strap of frame. Sides are scroll and foliate engraved with shrouded hammer. Left side of frame has Tranter syle loadig lever assembly / Octagon Bbl, with fine blade front sight and 3 leaf rear sight. Varnished nicely figured walnut straight stock , checkered at wrist with smooth steel butt plate. Sliding cylinder stop , safety on right side of frame. British Crown "V" proofs on Bbl & cylinder. condition, Very fine with dark bore with visible rifling. Exterior is a grey dull patina. Stock is very good with older repair at toe. Action operates properly and locks solidly. Circa 1850's
