Rare and exceptional, this LC Smith Featherweight Specialty Grade 16 gauge shotgun is a true collector’s piece. Manufactured in 1927 and returned to the factory in 1928 for a second set of 30" vent rib barrels, this double-barrel configuration is one of only 198 Specialty Grades with 30" vent rib barrels and a Hunter One Single Selective Triggerever produced.

Features:
  • Two Barrel Sets: 30" vent rib ejector barrels, each with its own beavertail forend.
    • Original Barrel Set (unmarked lug):
      • Right: .661 with 12/1000 choke (Light Mod)
      • Left: .662 with 28/1000 choke (Imp Mod)
    • Additional Barrel Set (lug marked "2"):
      • Right: .653 with 35/1000 choke (Full)
      • Left: .654 with 38/1000 choke (Full)
  • Excellent Condition: Sharp engraving and checkering, original finishes, no cracks or repairs, and tight on face with each barrel set.
  • Hunter One Single Selective Trigger: Demonstrated excellent functionality with a round of sporting clays.
  • Mirror Bores: Both barrel sets have pristine, mirror-like bores with 2 5/8" chambers.
  • Manual Safety & Ejectors: Well-timed ejectors, with no loose ribs.
  • Modern Comfort: Equipped with a Pachmayr Decelerator Sporting recoil pad (non-original).
  • Perfect Weight: Weighs 7 lbs 5 1/2 oz, making it ideal for both clays and field shooting.
Dimensions:

LOP:  13 7/8" to the rearward position single trigger, which feels like a 14 3/8" LOP for a double-trigger gun.
Drop at comb: 1 9/16".
Drop at heel: 2 1/2".
