Description:
28 inch part octagon No.1 barrel shows about 35-40% finish thinning more toward the muzzle. A good bore that shows light roughness throughout the rifling. Sights include a No.7 Wind-Gauge Globe front with no rear dovetail and a No. 104 Wind-Gauge Vernier rear tang sight with a Combination Eye Cup. Color case hardened frame appears a mottled brown having gray undertones with traces of color. The barrel is numbered to match with the lower tang also marked with “56” ahead of the serial number. Fancy select grade checkered walnut Pistol Grip stock and forearm showing wear and handling marks. Features double set triggers and fit with a Swiss style butt plate.
