Description:
24 inch octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. 22 Short, Long or Long Rifle calibers. Bore is good with strong rifling. Barrel retains a good amount of original blue with some edge wear. Good markings. Sights include a standard sporting rear and a Lyman No. 35 front. Frame retains a very good amount of case color as well. Nice mechanical condition. The plain walnut stocks remain very good retaining much of the original varnish. A few scattered dings and handling mars. Checkered hard rubber buttplate is in good condition with the Marlin insignia in the center. These were made from 1897-1922 and this nice Marlin rifle made around 1901.
