Original blued finish, about 98% with american black walnut stock also in excellent condition with a few use marks with high comb cheek rest, Marlin vented butt pad, adjustable flip up rear sight with brass beaded front sight with open hooded cover ;protector, and a receiver mounted Lyman Peep Sight. 4 round tube magazine, "JM" Stamped 24 Inch micro groove Barrel (RARE), Bore is very good, see picture. Mechanically excellent condition. A classic vintage rifle that will deliver hard hitting performace from a lever action rifle with the Marlin reputation.
