Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .44-40 Smokeless ammunition manufactured by the Dominion Cartridge Co. Limited in Montreal, Canada with soft point bullets. The two piece blue box has a red, white and gray label with call outs for Colt, Marlin and Winchester rifles and Colt Revolvers. The label remains intact with slits along the bottom edges to reveal contents with minor tearing and curling of the label. The cartridges are in near excellent condition with some age darkening of the cases. Included is the original inspection tag from inspector #114. A great box to display with your vintage Canadian rifle or revolver.
