This American Compact rifle is  in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR), and is a reliable and accurate bolt-action rifle made by Sturm, Ruger & Co., headquartered in Southport, Connecticut just blocks away from our retail shop and gallery. With its proprietary 10-shot rotary magazine (same design as Ruger's 10/22 Magnum) Ruger captured the market for a multi shot compact weapon without protruding magazines.
