Description:
This is one of the rarest of the WWI German military procurred semi-automatic pistols. It has been estimated that roughly 12,000 of these unique pistols were produced, with only a small handful having been accepted for service by the Germans in WWI. This gun retains retains 90% original finish overall, with some very minor surface rust in areas. All markings are clear. Has the proper Crown N proofs on the right side, as well as the Imperial fraktur proofs on the left side. All matching serial numbers on the gun, as well as BOTH proper magazines. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Original horn grips are in fine condition. The gun is accompanied by a period, but unmarked, pebble grain leather holster, which the gun has clearly been in for a long time. The holster has some tears and worn through spots, stitching is solid. This gun falls right in the middle of the accepted serial number range of Imperial proofed examples, being 5,167 to 9,268. This gun is all original in all regards. Serial number is 7060
