Description: Guns Listing ID: 505390 This is a really nice World War II U.S. Stevens Model 620 trench shotgun. As can be seen in the photos, much of the original blued finish remains on the receiver and barrel. This rare shotgun also has the proper plum hue on the bayonet lug adapter that includes the single brass bead sight. There are a few handling marks. There is a scratch on the left side of the receiver that can be seen in the pictures. There are also wear marks on the top edge of the left side of the receiver. There is wear on the magazine tube where the shotgun has been cycled. There are also dings and scratches on the right side of the buttstock. This shotgun also has the proper six-hole heat shield. The \"P\" above a flaming bomb stamp along with the three-line Stevens/Savage company Chicopee Falls address on the right side of the barrel. The left side of the barrel has the gauge and 2 3/4 inch chamber markings. The \"P\" and flaming bomb stamp are also on the left side of the receiver along with \"MODEL 620\" and \"U.S.\", and the serial number and \"U/S\" on the underside ahead of the trigger guard. This one has a smooth round forearm, pistol grip stock and serrated plastic buttplate. The serrated plastic buttplate has a crack that runs left to right. Though it is cracked, it remains in place and does not move unless forced. The shotgun is mechanically solid and functions as expected. These are very scarce and only 12,174 are reported to have been manufactured.
