Description:
W&C Scott &Son Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun 10 ga Bores Exc, Mech Exc, Wood VG with checkering lines some still strong. Has 31 ¼” barrel with brass bead front sight and the rib is marked W&C Scott & Son Patentees , Dorset Place Pall Mall London Laminated Steel. Both lockplates are marked W&C Scott & Son with fine engraving over all the metal parts. Has the original buttplate looks like horn. Serial#2236 matching. Forearm has a wedge securing it to the barrels. Metal has a brown patina finish on the barrels with a twist like pattern. The receiver has an aged grey patina finish with the lockplates having case coloring. Water table markings Purdey’s Patent bolt W&C Scott & Son Patent Action.
