Description:
"NSN, circa 1850’s-1860’s, 10 Bore, 30" octagonal to hex decagonal to round smoothbore barrel. Barrel and lock plate are a silver/grey patina with finish with pin-prick oxidation and scattered freckling noted. Piece of the hammer tip is missing, lock plate is marked “W.W. KAYE/PHILADA". Beautiful Checkered walnut stock is very good with light handling wear noted. Action holds at half and full cock.
