The "GOLD HUNTER" is shown with a GRACOIL Mechanical
RECOIL REDUCTION SYSTEM. This fully adjustable device
can provide up to about 50% recoil reduction. This set was also
designed with a Dockwiller Exhibition Grade HydroCoil System
with Air Compression, which provides up to 70% Recoil Reduction.
We will install the Dockwiller Stock for an additional $1200.00 to
cover the installation and stock preparation (TriggerGlaze target chip
protection). You can purchase the Dockwiller French stock for an
additional $4995.00 with the set purchase only. This set has more
oprational shooting options than any set since 1979.

The Clay Sports Companies have worked with Jack Dockwiller since the 1970s and have seen most of the magnificent stocks and engraving Jack produced until 2018 when he created his last works and left us with his legacy as one of the Greatest Wood-smiths to have custom designed and fitted a wood stock to most of the major high grade shotgun receivers in modern history.
We had the honor of being a personal friend of Jack’s and reveled in the joy and excitement every time we received a shotgun delivery marked from J. L. Dockwiller Company. The opening always drew a crowd in our showroom because we knew we would see something very special. We were elated when we received “The GOLD HUNTER” Perazzi set from Jack in 2016. Clay Sports International had selected the engraving motif for the unique "Gold Hunter" Prototype and planned to market the series as a Clay Sports special order item for all four clay sports. Unfortunately, and sadly, Jack Dockwiller passed in 2018 prior to any additional Gold Hunters being fabricated. We wanted to fabricate a unique high grade custom 4 gauge skeet set for the shooter that requires the highest functionality matched with the extreme elegance of a Dockwiller Exhibition shotgun. This Gold Hunter Hybrid Crossover easily met that criteria and is functionally exceptional while being a Unique Work of Art.
To ensure the best quality and versatility, Jack started with a Perazzi Mirage Four Barrel Factory Set. The Mirage was easy to engrave at the Dockwiller Shop while Jack Personally fabricated the fully adjustable stock and forearm from a block of Exhibition Grade French Walnut. When the stock and engraving was finally completed, a Briley Ultimate Ultra-lite tube set was factory fitted at the Briley Tube Shop. The four matched barrels provide fast moving, well balanced Clays Shotgun for high speed events and the Briley tubes add swing weight and the excellent patterns inherent in the Briley Tubes and Chokes. This Crossover System truly provides the ultimate shooting system for all Clay Sports.

The GrayCoil Stock is appointed with a fully adjustable comb and butt plate for a twelve (12) adjustment capability. Sixteen Chokes are available with the set.
The Dockwiller Exhibition GOLD HUNTER Engraving appears only on this shotgun. The original engraving art was commissioned for $5,000.00
The stock and forearm were chiseled from imported French Walnut blocks at a cost of $8,000. The adjustable comb and butt plate hardware and installation runs $1200.
The Briley Tubes with extra chokes was over $2,000 originally with a lifetime warranty.
The buyer has the option to purchase the matching Exhibition French Walnut Hydro-coil Stock which is priced at $4,995.00 with the purchase of the entire set. To match the quality, we had Americase build two custom Clay Sports aluminum carrying/shipping cases with deluxe appointments and combination security locks. There is one each for the Four Barrel and Briley Tube Configurations.
The custom Clay Sports/Trigger Sports Americases were made for Clay Sports international for about $1400 with appointments.
These aircraft grade cases have two center flaps to protect the Perazzi cargo and the compartment for the six Briley tubes. This Hybrid set has custom triggers and polished interfaces to enhance functionality.
Clay Sports can provide a laser fitting set, as an option, with the purchase which will save hours on the pattern board to fit the adjustable stock and butt plate. The laser works with all 12, 20, 28, and 410 gauge shotguns. Laser Sets are $499 for four gauges.
