For your consideration, the Remington Rand M1911 A1 chambered in .45 Auto. Remington Rand manufactured the M1911 A1 from 1943 to 1945. This model was made in 1945 based on the serial number. It is marked US Property and M1911 A1 U.S. Army on the frame, and Remington Rand on the slide. To note, the serial is during the last part of Ithaca's range in 1945, the only other identifying marks are the slide which is Remington Rand. .45 Auto
