Yep this 101 has been hunted with so if you are looking for a 101 to go hunting with and not worry about scrapes and outdoor life in general, this is the perfect Winchester for you.
The previous owner added a sling mount to the barrel and stock, not what I would have done but I guess they did a lot of walking. The left hand side of the forgrip is missing some wood and there is some pinprick rust on the receiver. If the foregrip really bothers you, you can purchase a replacement. I would just sand it down and spend the money on shells.

Everything else seems tight and right. Trust me, it is nice to have a hunting shotgun with a few scrapes, like an old farm pickup that has more character than your huntin' dog.
