Description:
.31 caliber, 6" octagon barrel, blue and casehardened finish with one piece walnut grip. London two line barrel address and English proofs. An exceptional example with the barrel retaining 75% plus high polish blue with the remainder flaking. The frame, hammer, and loading lever showing strong case colors and cylinder has generous blue mixing with gray and a very sharp engraved scene. The straps and triggerguard still having 40% plus silver wash remaining mostly on the triggerguard and forward area of the front strap. Excellent grip and varnish. In it's original factory London Agency box with Dixon bag flask and correct Colt marked mold. Also present are the cleaning rod, screw driver, Colt marked cap tin, and sealed packet of Hazard's Colt pocket cartridges. All excellent. Baized lined contour walnut box interior and varnished exterior remain in superb original condition. Original box key.
