Description:
The forward portion of the 12 Gauge 39 inch barrel is round and the rear is octagon. In between is an interesting 16-sided transition area assuming it goes all the way around. This was once a very nicely-made gun. Now it has aged and taken on a lot of character. A few parts are missing and the barrel tang is cracked. Gun measures 59 inches overall with a generously sized stock of hefty proportions. Cap box in belly of stock is frozen shut. This fine detail gives us another hint of the former glory of this fascinating antique.
