The Vanguard starts with a Howa two-lug push-feed action, a number of Weatherby signature safety features and three gas ports on the bolt body. Features a hammer forged barrel; M-16 style extractor; fluted bolt body similar to the Mark V creates smoother operation; Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee; two-stage trigger; Monte Carlo stock provides lightweight and durable performance; one-piece forged and machined receiver features integral recoil lug for the utmost in strength and structural integrity; trigger guard with hinged floorplate provides easy access to unfired cartridges in the magazine. The Weatherguard allows you to take it into the nastiest environments without a single worry about how it will perform. The Monte Carlo stock is made of ultra-tough Griptonite and all the metalwork has maximum protection with a great-looking Cerakote finish.
