Description:
A late production L.C,Smith Ideal grade 16 gauge. Built in 1948, this gun has 26" London steel barrels choked improved cylinder (.010") and full (/030") with 23/4"chambers. The gun is in remarkable condition retaining 98% of the origianl case colors, barrel blue and wood finish. The bores are mint and free of any rust or pits.The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or handling marks. The stock has a143/4" LOP over a ventilated pad, 11/2" at comb and 21/2" at heel.The barrels are on face and lock up to the action with the lever far to the right. The high solid rib has dual ivory beads. This is a classic L.C.Smith in really outstanding condition. A great little upland gun or a fun clays buster. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
