The Browning Superposed 12-gauge shotgun, manufactured in 1956, is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. It features exquisite engraving by Felix Funken, widely regarded as one of the finest engravers of his era, with his signature adorning both sides of the receiver. Funken, who served as FN's Chief Engraver, was also the founder of the FN Engraving School, a testament to his expertise and influence in the field just three years before his retirement in 1960. This particular shotgun is choked in Improved Modified and Modified configurations, equipped with 2 3/4 inch chambers and a 30-inch barrel.
