Made 1882, no FFL required. 28” barrels engraved “James Purdey South Audley House Street London Madeof Sr Joseph Whitworths Fluid Pressed Steel”. 2 ½” chambers, choked M/F. Hidden third bite, treble grip action. Deep carved percussion fences. Dolphin hammers. The very finest English rose and scroll. Double trigger, extractor, English style refinishing, engraving is gorgeous. Virtually all of the case color, blue, wood refinish. Silvers pad. Excellent screws. Straight grip, splinter forend, highly figured wood. In top condition.
