Description:
Dated USN 1845 on the rear of the percussion lock, and 1845 on breech pof the barrel with inspector mark of :RC over a P. Opposote the lock in the stock is an oval but can;t read it/ The nipple is about complete and the hammer face has edge chipping from extended use. The captured ramrod works well as does the lock and the 5" barrel has a dark but clean bore and no pitting.
