Presented here is a rare Smith & Wesson Model 19P chambered in .357 Magnum. This 19P was originally shipped from Smith & Wesson USA to their distribution center in Liege Belgium, and then to Wishco GmbH & Co in Erlangen Germany. The Model 19P was a special fixed-sight variation of the prevalent Model 19. Manufactured in 1988, this Model 19P features a full blue finish, a 4-inch heavy barrel, yellow insert ramp front sight, and factory Pachmayr grips. This particular Model 19P retains 98% of its original blue finish with the only wear being an extremely faint turn line on the cylinder and a minuscule amount of faint handling marks. The bore of the 4-inch barrel is immaculate with sharp rifling and no signs of imperfections or pitting. The factory Pachmayr grips are in excellent condition with just a hint of handling marks but no major damage or discoloration. The factory smooth trigger and standard hammer retain a large portion of their case coloring and just show a smidge of high-edge wear. All the manufacturers' markings and proof marks are more than visible and there is a small import mark on the inside of the frame. The action functions flawlessly in both single and double action, and the cylinder shows no signs of excessive wear or mishandling.
