Description:
This early Gamemaster was produced in the 1953-1958 time frame as the .300 Savage was discontinued in 1958. It has a grooved walnut fore end, "iron" sights, and provision for scope. The aluminum butt plate was a high-end add-on as aluminum was quite expensive at the time, and was used for decoration more than utility. The rifle itself is in great condition, especially considering it is now nearly 70. .300 Savage
