Very nice dark California walnut, yes like New
I bought the gun from the original owner back in the late 80's , she has not been in the field , no scratches or dings guess what the bore is like new ( let me know if you know of a 460 that has been shot out )
I've put maybe a box of 500 grainers down the barrel, she is as she left the factory, beautiful old gun See the pictures
