Description:
WW2 German SA Dagger made by E. Pack & Sohne, Soligen Germany. This is also a very rare example with an intact personal inscription from Ernst Rohm. Prior to his "unmasking" as a traitor Rohm was the laeder of the SA. Approximately 100,000 daggers with his name where made. Thery are identical to a standard M1933 but have the inscription included on reverse side of blade. After the purge " Night of the Long knives" and his subsiquent murder, the majority of daggers where either sent back to the factory or serviced in the field. The inscription was either enterly removed or just his name. Very very few exist with the whole inscription. This is one of them. It appears as though some one has damaged the metal scabbard bu slashing at it with another blade. Possibly making it raedy for destruction? it has sharp cuts to the edges. Please see photos. For the most part it only damaged the scabbard. there are a few, 4-5 marks to the bade edges. They are not terrible bad. Also, all the metal has what I beleive to be shellac on it. A large portion of it has chipped off. I have left this just as found so the next owner can do as they please.  I am almost certian it will clean up very well and look fantastic. The dagger itself is in pretty good condition but is missing the SA emblem at the top of grip.Again See pictures for your own conclusion. Here is a rare chance to own one of these intact daggers. Please ask any questions. Shipping will have to include  insuarnce. Thank you
